With the ever increasing interest shown in our exclusive range of Unox® ovens, BCE Foodservice equipment has secured the services of a specialist chef to assist our dealers with marketing and selling of the exclusively distributed Unox brand.

We are extremely pleased  to introduce  Berno Du Plessis as our new Unox Active Marketing Chef.Berno has extensive experience working in the foodservice industry.  In 1999 he graduated with a Diploma in Professional Cookery from the Stellenbosch Institute of Culinary Arts. His first formal job was as a Chef de Partie at the Marine Hotel in 2000. 

Since then he has achieved a number of accolades including performing live cooking demonstrations on SABC television, cooking meals for Nelson Mandela, Oprah Winfrey and the President of Brazil and writing numerous articles for publications such as Icon magazine.

He has worked as a Chef for the Saxon Hotel, Sun City (both the Sun City Hotel and the Palace) and the Intercontinental Hotel Group.

Berno has recently returned from intensive training at the Unox factory in Padova Italy and will be an excellent resource to assist you in the marketing and sales process of Unox ovens and accessories.
